Located a short drive off the main road (highway 6) from Addis Ababa we are only a short drive away, ideal if you’re looking to escape the bustle of the city for the weekend. Despite its proximity to Addis the holiday lodge is located deep in a rural part of Ethiopia, if you walk around the nearby village you’ll be able to experience the everyday life and friendliness of the community here. We now offer minibus transfers from Addis to Hara Langano at special rates – please ask us for details.
Social responsibility is core to how we operate. We employ and train local staff with an apprentice scheme, and support the local schools and community. The lodge facilities are built to minimise their impact on the environment using solar power as much as possible and water saving measures. We are determined to preserve the local environment for future generations.
